How Can nausea Along With Stomach Bloating Be Treated?

It all began with nausea; just the feeling of wanting to puke. I couldn t sleep in a comfortable position because of it. I then woke up with the same feeling and a bloated sensation on my stomach, and also lightheaded as I moved. It disappeared as I began my normal routine but the nausea was still hanging. I tried pepto bismo to see if it could help, then I tried carbonated water since I wanted to get over whatever was getting at my body. I threw up what I ate last night but my back muscle and legs began to feel really weak and hurt as I moved, it was very uncomfortable. I couldn t stand eating anything meat or bread, just a salad because I knew I should eat. I usually consume a lot more. Sleeping was the only thing that kept me from feeling the disturbance. I also have frequent bowel movements after I eat and I haven t been able to have a good one since then. I took Ibuprofen for the muscles and I felt better. This is day 2 and I m feeling like throwing up but I can t, I can t have a normal bowel movement, and I have an upset stomach; passing gas help relieve it for a short second. what do I do?

Hi,

By your history and description, the possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more likely. GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this, the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause chest pain, nausea, bloating, burping, belching etc. So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in GERD.
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
2. Take Pantoprazole and Levosulpiride combination.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid large meals, instead, take frequent small meals.
4. Go for walking after meals. Keep 2-3 pillows under the head in bed.
5. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
